With an advisory board in place and local supporters ready to play their part, OX7 got down to work on 1 September 2017.
We are delighted to have the backing of Chipping Norton School, Ruskin College, St Mary’s Church and the Community Church.
ECN is working with Oxfordshire youth charity Base 33 to deliver the programme, while Oxfordshire County Council and Robert Courts MP are also supporting OX7.
Meanwhile, Barclays and NatWest offers OX7 participants financial skills training and mentorship, Oxfordshire Apprenticeships is assisting with employment opportunities and Oxfordshire Youth provides advice, support and resources.
The OX7 advisory board comprises Andy Marshall, of Activate Learning, Chipping Norton School Governor John Vincent, Councillor Guy Wall, and a specialist employment, education and training case worker who prefers to remain anonymous.

A special mention for Activate Learning, a unique, pioneering education group which is providing an exciting two-way opportunity for OX7 users to find the right form of learning for them – and the chance to follow new business and industry career pathways.
ECN is actively looking for new business sponsorship and support from local organisations to help develop OX7 into a place of learning, energy, expertise, personal growth and strong community relationships.
Stay tuned for updates via ECN social media, and discover how you can play a part in the evolution of OX7.
